With the assistance of Captain
Alfred McDowell Graham, the
Chief Police Officer of Selangor, the management committee succeeded in obtaining the site of the present premises, Land Grant Lot No. 689 in the town and district of Kuala Lumpur, which was 1.718 acres in size, at No. 24, Perkins Road (now renamed as Jalan Raja Alang) on 18th July, 1922.
Donations were thereafter raised from the Sikh sangat to build the Tatt Khalsa Diwan Selangor Gurdwara and Punjabi school building.
